Privacy Policy
Last Updated: February 13, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use the Turn Photo into Video mobile application ("App") on iOS. The App offers AI-powered photo and video creation tools, including subscriptions. By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. Introduction
Turn Photo into Video ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. The data controller responsible for your personal data in connection with the App is the developer or entity that publishes "Turn Photo into Video" on the App Store. For contact details, see the Contact Us section below.
Important: This App does not use any third-party AI services. All AI-powered features (photo-to-video generation, image processing, etc.) are processed entirely on our own servers. We do not send your photos, videos, or any personal data to any third-party AI provider (such as OpenAI, Google AI, Stability AI, or any other external AI service). Your content remains under our direct control at all times.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Account & Authentication Data
- We create an anonymous account so we can provide services (e.g., saving your subscription status). We store an internal user ID and session tokens on your device and on our servers.
- Access and refresh tokens are stored locally to keep you signed in and to communicate securely with our backend. We do not require your name, email, or password unless you choose to provide them (e.g., in feedback).
2.2 Subscription Data
- Apple Subscriptions: If you subscribe (e.g., weekly or yearly plans) through the App, payment is processed by Apple. We receive from Apple transaction identifiers and signed transaction/renewal information, which we send to our servers to verify the purchase and to grant you access.
- Subscription status: We store and use your subscription status, plan type, and expiry date to deliver the correct features and limits.
2.3 Content You Provide (Photos and Videos)
- What data is sent: When you use AI features, the photos and images you select are uploaded to our own servers for processing. Only the specific photo(s) you choose to process are uploaded — we do not access or upload any other photos from your device.
- Who the data is sent to: Your photos are sent only to our own servers. We do not send your photos or any user content to any third-party AI service, external AI provider, or any other third party for AI processing.
- How the data is used: Your photos are used solely to perform the AI processing you requested (e.g., generating a video from your photo). We do not use your photos for advertising, marketing, model training, or any unrelated purposes.
- Data retention: Generated video or image outputs may be stored temporarily on our servers as necessary to deliver them to you. Uploaded photos and generated results are deleted from our servers after processing is completed and delivered.
2.4 Feedback and Communications
If you use the in-app feedback form, we may collect email (if you provide it), feedback type and content, app version, and where applicable user ID or task ID. This data is used only to handle your feedback and improve the App.
2.5 Usage and Analytics Data
- We record in-app events (e.g., app opens, screen views, feature use, subscription-related actions such as viewing or closing the paywall).
- We use analytics providers (such as Firebase and Adjust) that may collect device and app identifiers, event names and parameters, and approximate location where made available by the SDK and your device settings. We may use attribution tools (e.g., Adjust, Apple's SKAdNetwork) in line with Apple's and our partners' policies. We do not use your uploaded photos or videos for advertising targeting.
2.6 Data Stored on Your Device
The App may store locally: session and authentication tokens; cached content (e.g., templates, thumbnails); preferences and settings; and Core Data or similar local storage used by the App.
3. Subscriptions
Our App offers subscription plans (e.g., weekly or yearly) through Apple (StoreKit). This section describes how subscriptions work and how we handle related data.
3.1 Payment Processing
All subscription payments are processed by Apple. We do not collect or store your payment card details. Apple's privacy policy applies to payment and billing data: https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/.
3.2 Data We Receive for Subscriptions
We receive from Apple transaction identifiers and signed transaction/renewal information. We use this data only to verify your purchase, grant you access to subscription features and support restore purchases. We also store your subscription status, plan type, and expiry date to deliver the correct features and limits.
3.3 Managing and Cancelling Subscriptions
- Cancel subscription: You can cancel your subscription at any time. To cancel, open Settings on your iPhone or iPad, tap your Apple ID (your name at the top), then tap Subscriptions. Select "Turn Photo into Video" and choose to cancel. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- Restore purchases: If you reinstall the App or use a new device, you can restore your previous subscription. Use the "Restore Purchases" option inside the App (typically in Settings or on the paywall/subscription screen). This will restore your subscription entitlements linked to your Apple ID.
- Refunds: Refund requests for subscriptions must be submitted to Apple. You can request a refund through reportaproblem.apple.com or your Apple ID account settings.
You can manage all subscription data in your Apple ID account settings. We do not sell your subscription data to third parties.
4. How We Use Your Information
- Provide the App: Create and manage your account, deliver AI features, process your images/videos on our own servers, and show your subscription status.
- Process subscriptions: Verify subscription with Apple; grant subscription access; support restore purchases.
- Improve the App: Analyze usage, fix bugs, and develop new features.
- Support you: Respond to feedback and troubleshoot issues.
- Security and compliance: Protect against abuse, enforce our terms, and comply with applicable law.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties for their marketing. We do not share your photos, videos, or generated content with any third-party AI service.
5. Legal Basis (Where Applicable)
We process data where necessary to provide the App and subscriptions (contract); for analytics, security, and product improvement (legitimate interests); and where we rely on consent (e.g., optional analytics or marketing), you may withdraw it at any time through in-app settings or by contacting us.
6. AI Data Processing
6.1 Our Own AI Processing
All AI features in this App — including photo-to-video generation and image processing — are powered by AI models running on our own servers. We operate and maintain these AI models ourselves. No third-party AI services are used.
- Data sent: Only the photo(s) you explicitly choose to process, along with your anonymous user ID and processing parameters.
- Recipient: Our own servers only. Your content is never shared with any external AI service provider.
- Purpose: Solely to generate the AI-processed result (video/image) you requested.
- Retention: Uploaded content and generated results are temporarily stored on our servers during processing and delivery, then deleted.
- Security: All data is transmitted via encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) and stored securely on our servers.
6.2 No Third-Party AI Services
To be clear: this App does not integrate with, send data to, or rely on any third-party AI service (including but not limited to OpenAI, Google AI, Stability AI, Midjourney, or any other external AI provider). All AI computations are performed on infrastructure we own and operate.
7. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services for non-AI purposes only (analytics, attribution, and infrastructure). None of these services receive your photos, videos, or AI-generated content.
- Apple: App distribution, Subscriptions (StoreKit) — Apple Privacy Policy
- Our backend infrastructure: Our own servers for AI processing, APIs, and storage — governed by this policy. We do not use third-party AI APIs.
- Firebase Analytics (Google): App usage analytics and event tracking — Google / Firebase Privacy Policy. Data collected: device identifiers, usage events, technical information. Firebase does not receive your photos or videos.
- Adjust: Attribution tracking and marketing analytics — Adjust Privacy Policy. Data collected: device identifiers (IDFA/IDFV), installation events, conversion events. Adjust does not receive your photos or videos.
We require these providers to use your data only as necessary to provide their services and in line with applicable law. These providers provide the same or equivalent protection of personal data as described in this policy.
8. Data Retention
- Account and subscription data: Retained for as long as your account exists and as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, and comply with law.
- Uploaded and generated content: Retained only as long as necessary to deliver the service and for reasonable operational and legal purposes.
- Analytics and usage data: Retained in aggregated or pseudonymous form as needed; raw logs may be retained for a limited period for security and debugging.
- Feedback: Retained as long as needed to handle your request and for legitimate support or product improvement purposes.
You may request deletion of your data (see Your Rights below).
9. Data Security
We use technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including secure transmission (e.g., HTTPS), secure storage for tokens and sensitive data, and limiting access to personal data. We rely on Apple and other trusted providers for payment and infrastructure security. No system is completely secure; we will notify you and regulators where required if a breach affects your personal data.
10. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13 (or the applicable age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
11. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to: access your personal data; request correction or deletion; restrict or object to certain processing; receive your data in a portable format; opt out of marketing; and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details in the Contact Us section. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority in your country.
Apple-specific: You can manage subscription data in your Apple ID account settings. Restore subscription and subscription management are available inside the App and in iOS Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions.
12. International Transfers
Your data may be processed in countries other than your own. We ensure appropriate safeguards (e.g., standard contractual clauses or adequacy decisions) where required by law.
13. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version in the App and/or on our website and update the "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy. For material changes, we may provide additional notice (e.g., in the App or by email where we have it).
14. Contact Us
For any questions about this Privacy Policy, your personal data, subscriptions, or to exercise your rights, please contact us:
- In the App: Use the feedback or support option in Settings.
- By email: [email protected]
We will respond to your inquiries within a reasonable period, and in any event within 30 days where required by law.
